This August, Freya decided to undertake an Outward Bound backpacking program in Colorado, which made me super happy as I too participated in Outward Bound in high school (and loved it)!
Since I usually take August off from work, I decided to fly out with her so we could spend a few days in Denver together before her program started. Plus, my best friend, Allsion, lives in Denver and I was hoping to spend some time with her.
Allison, like me, is a travel addict, so as soon as she knew I was coming, we started planning. She’s been wanting to hike the West Maroon Trail for awhile now (from Crested Butte to Aspen) and all the stars seemed to be aligning . . .
