FAMILY SESSION PRICING

I offer family sessions both at home and/or at a set location (like a park or a nature reserve). At home sessions tend to be a little less formal and more relaxed. For home sessions, I've photographed families: playing board games, making hot chocolate, cooking soup, climbing trees, walking to a nearby playground, kicking a soccer ball, and participating in pillow fights. For out-and-about sessions, I've photographed families at parks, gardens, and nature reserves.

I offer both full and mini sessions. Full sessions are a more detailed story of your life together as a family. Whereas mini sessions are usually more portrait based (i.e. holiday cards).

** PLEASE NOTE THAT MY RATES DIFFER BY SEASON (also, if you book a session in one season and then need to move your date to another season, a higher rate may apply).

MINI SESSIONS -

  • Last 30-45 minutes (no longer) and take place at one location.

  • Because these are shorter than full sessions, they usually include more posed photos and are less photodocumentary in nature.

  • Mini sessions are not available for extended families or groups larger than 5 people.

  • Mini session pricing includes:

    • A detailed questionnaire, so that I can get to know your family before we meet in person.

    • A phone or email consultation, including (if requested) advice on timing, activities, locations, and outfits.

    • Approximately 50 high resolution digital images delivered through an online website, which are your’s to share, send, or print at the lab of your choice. All photographs are delivered in black and white and color versions.


    PRICING (“OFF” SEASON - January 1 - March 31)

    • WEEKEND (SATURDAY AND SUNDAY) - $500 ($460 for former clients)

    • WEEKDAY (MONDAY - FRIDAY) - $400 ($360 for former clients)


  • PRICING (REGULAR SEASON - April 1 - September 15)

    • WEEKEND (SATURDAY AND SUNDAY) - $700 ($600 for former clients)

    • WEEKDAY (MONDAY - FRIDAY) - $600 ($500 for former clients)


  • PRICING (PEAK SEASON - September 16 - December 31)

    • WEEKEND (SATURDAY AND SUNDAY) - $900 ($760 for former clients)

    • WEEKDAY (MONDAY - FRIDAY) - $800 ($660 for former clients)

FULL FAMILY SESSIONS -

  • Last approximately 1.25 - 2.0 hours.

  • Often these sessions occur at a few separate locations. For example, we might start taking photos in your home, then a walk for ice cream or a trip to the park.

  • Because these sessions are longer than mini sessions, they are more documentary in nature (lots of candids).

  • Full session pricing includes:

    • A detailed questionnaire, so that I can get to know your family before we meet in person.

    • A phone or email consultation, including (if requested) advice on timing, activities, locations, and outfits.

    • Approximately 80 high resolution digital images delivered through an online website, which are your’s to share, send, or print at the lab of your choice (full family sessions will include more photos than minis). All photographs are delivered in black and white and color versions.

    • A digital slideshow set to music.

  • PRICING - FULL SESSIONS, ANYTIME OF YEAR, COST $100 MORE THAN A MINI SESSION
