Fun, Relaxed Spring Backyard Wedding (Alexandria, VA)/ Sari & Alex

In previous years I photographed several backyard weddings, but I don’t seem to book these as much anymore, which makes me sad as my own wedding was in a friend’s backyard - somewhat similar to Sari & Alex’s, though not as well planned (so, yes, I’m a little jealous of their “big” day).
Sari and Alex originally planned on having a large-ish party, but then decided to scale things down to family and close friends in the backyard of Sari’s childhood home. I can’t speak for the couple, but this seemed like the perfect call as both Sari and Alex were so happy and relaxed all afternoon.
Sari’s mom trains dogs and I feel like they served as the wedding party. Seriously, how cute are all three dogs in their suits? Such a perfect day!!
