Giant sequoias cast their green smell quickly through the car and it all happened so fast, these abrupt California changes of altitude and landscape.

For the second half of our California road trip (you can read about the first half here), we spent two nights camping in Sequoia National Park and one night backpacking, which was all sorts of gorgeous ( we had an entire alpine meadow to ourselves).

Then we drove to Three Rivers, California where we white water rafted and relaxed on the porch. I love vacation!
