Erika & Odaro's Winter Engagement Session at Georgetown Harbor (Washington DC)

At first it seemed like everything was going wrong for Erika and Odaro’s engagement session, but then (as always) it all turned out perfect.
We originally planned photos in the snow (how cool would that have been?), but the white flakes never appeared, thus leaving us with a cold, grey early March afternoon. The sort of day when you know spring has to be coming soon and you keep wondering why it keeps taking so long.
Luckily, the low temperatures must have kept everyone inside, so we had the waterfront park to ourselves. And Erika and Odaro’s easy-going personalities made photo taking easy. Plus, they are head over heels in love. I love the way they look at each other. Their wedding isn’t until 2020 and I can’t wait for it to come! So much happiness!
