A Gorgeous Outdoor Military Wedding (Leesburg, VA)

One of the things I love about photographing weddings is seeing the story unfold - the dress coming off the hanger, bridesmaids and groomsmen reconnecting (and/or getting to know each other), the magic that occurs when the bride and groom see each other for the first time, little details like cakes and flowers, first dances, etc.

And this wedding had so many beautiful stories to tell - a navy sword arch, the Filipino tradition of a money dance, the Jewish hora (which looked like so much fun that I wanted to dance with them), etc. It was wonderful to see so many different cultures and traditions combine and merge to celebrate the newlyweds.

(By the way, this is another wedding I second shot with Brandon Hunter, and yet again, I couldn't feel more lucky that Brandon asked me to work with him!)
