3. Currently Reading, Watching, Listening.
4. Have you ever played Clues by Sam? Dan and I are a little bit addicted. There's a new puzzle every day and they get progressively harder throughout the week.
5. 16 Random Acts of Kindness that Cost Nothing YES! Esp. #3, 6, and 16.
6. Marketing is hard, so I'm so excited about a few new features - (1) Novela recently published this wedding (so pretty!) and (2) my profile is now up on the World's Best Wedding Photos website.
7. I know I'm late to the game, but I love all 12 Black History Month Recs. (The Clint Smith article is pure gold).
8. Has anyone seen Wuthering Heights? I went with friends for Galentine's weekend - I liked it, but didn't love it. But I am, however, enjoying all of the discourse - esp. Emma Specter's 139 Thoughts (spoiler alert) and "Wuthering Heights Has Torn the Independent's Culture Desk Apart". And, of course, since I can't avoid a rabbit hole, I'm now lusting over this walking holiday (anyone want to go?).

I am writing this review close to five years after my wedding. I am writing this because as I was looking through my pictures, I felt emotional. Darcy take staged pictures as every other photographer does but she has a special touch - she has the talent to take candid moments that take you back to when the day happened. She captures moments that are personal without being prying and she captures genuieness and emotion. Darcy's pictures are beautiful but truly what makes her unique is her capacity to transport the person viewing her pictures back to the day it was taken along with the emotions of that day and the emotions of today. - JL

Darcy took our engagement pictures and we couldn’t be happier with the results! From her communication to the pre-session questionnaire, everything was so thoughtful and made our session smoother than we could have imagined. We had a wonderful experience working with Darcy! From the very beginning, communication was easy. We especially appreciated that Darcy proactively reached out about potentially rescheduling due to weather since she knew we were hoping for some outdoor shots. Her level of thoughtfulness really stood out to us.
She was fantastic with our two young boys, who were very active and excited the entire shoot. She embraced their energy and made it fun for them.
Darcy also did a great job moving us around our home and offering direction when needed to help frame shots, but mostly, she just observed and captured candid, authentic moments of our family.
The final gallery truly exceeded our expectations, both in quality and quantity. We received so many amazing photos, and it was clear how much care and attention went into each one. We will definitely work with Darcy in the future and would highly recommend Darcy to anyone looking for family photos! - Caitlin
