Sara & Stephen met in Italy (how cool is that?) and they’ve spent a lot of their relationship living in different cities. And they’re crazy in love.

Even though they don’t currently live in Virginia, they thought Old Town Alexandria would make the perfect place for their small, intimate weekday wedding (and I couldn’t agree more).

We started the afternoon with Sara & Stephen’s first look in one of Old Town’s red brick alleys - so much happiness. Then we spent some time taking in the beauty of Old Town, while photographing couple portraits. Eventually, we made our way to the waterfront, where Sara’s family and Stephen’s sister waited for us. After a gorgeous ceremony in Founders Park, the wedding party headed to Virtue Food & Grain for lunch.

Even though I only had a few hours to spend with Sara and Stephen, I totally fell in love with them. Such a kind, loving couple. A perfect morning!
